The Asset Management Team
The Asset Management team comprises twenty-one professionals with extensive work experience in the MENA region and other emerging markets. Team members possess a combination of local and international qualifications, including ten Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holders and one Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) holder.
The Asset Management team is divided into two groups; the Public Markets group and the Investment Management Advisory group.
With a track record since 2007, the Public Markets group currently manages in excess of SAR 15 billion ($4 billion) in public equites, sukuk, murabaha and multi-asset strategies for government-related entities, local and international institutional investors, leading local family companies and offices and high-net-worth individuals. These investments are managed through public mutual funds, private mutual funds and discretionary portfolios. The group has been regularly recognized for award-winning investment performance for its Saudi, GCC and MENA equity mandates.
The Investment Management Advisory group provides investment advisory and fiduciary services to local and regional institutional investors. The services encompass the complete spectrum of developing and running an institutional-level investment program using best-in-class third-party investment managers. The team comes from a strong institutional investor background (SWF and private institutional investors) with global and local coverage.
