Jadwa Global Sukuk Fund

Fixed-income products are a great way to diversify a portfolio. And Jadwa is the first to offer such investments that are Shariah-compliant through the Jadwa Global Sukuk Fund by investing in Sukuk, also known as Islamic bonds. This medium-risk Fund invests in Sukuk issues of sovereign, quasi-sovereign, corporate and convertible debt issues while also investing in Shariah-compliant project finance and structured finance transactions. Excess cash in the Fund is invested in short-term Murabaha deposits. Denominated in U.S. dollars, the Fund requires a minimum investment of US$15,000. Its benchmark is 3-M LIBOR plus 100 basis points’.

Investment Strategies The Fund invests its assets in a diversified portfolio comprised of Shariah-compliant companies listed on the Arab equity markets, using a multi-strategy approach. The Fund may also invest up to 25% of its assets in other approved Shariah-compliant investment funds.
