Jadwa Investment maintains its position as the only investment firm in Saudi Arabia to receive MQ2 Rating by Moody’s
Riyadh, December 26, 2016: Jadwa Investment, a leading Saudi Arabian investment management and advisory firm, recently received a reaffirmation of its MQ2 manager quality rating by Moody’s for the 7th consecutive year. With this announcement, Jadwa continues to maintain its position as the only investment firm in Saudi Arabia to receive this quality rating. The assessment is primarily based on the firm’s investment processes, team quality, fund performance, and growth in assets under management.
“Jadwa’s MQ2 score captures the company’s ability to support its investment management activities and reflects the strategic and financial backing it provides its clients with. The firm’s skill and risk scores are strong and funds have shown solid risk-adjusted performance. Jadwa Investment benchmarks itself versus global best practices, making use of external service providers to ensure its investment process, operations and controls are in line with its global peers,” states the Moody report.
Commenting on the assessment, Tariq Al-Sudairy, Managing Director and CEO of Jadwa Investment, said: “Jadwa Investment is proud to be the only investment firm in Saudi Arabia with an MQ2 rating, and to have maintained this important assessment by Moody’s since 2010. We take this as a recognition of Jadwa’s commitment to the highest standards of investment management, and as a responsibility to continue to deliver the best for our clients.”
