Jadwa GCC Equity Fund:

Jadwa GCC Equity Fund is one of the broad ranges of mutual funds that Jadwa offers. The fund aims to provide investors with long-term capital appreciation by investing in GCC equities listed on the GCC Stock Markets which are compliant with the Shariah standards approved by Jadwa’s Shariah Committee.

By providing a diversified range of investments in GCC Equities, the Fund offers the investors an opportunity to benefit from the potential growth in the economy and the financial markets of the GCC countries.

GCC countries have been developing new rules and regulations in order to make their investment environments more attractive to investors. These countries are actually working at an accelerated pace to liberalize the sectors other than oil or gas. This will help GCC markets to better compete with other emerging markets.

All the steps taken by the GCC countries are resulting in their stock markets becoming more sophisticated and the new equity issues are attracting larger investments in the regional markets. These countries are also enhancing their ambitious investment platforms, thus providing private sector companies with attractive investment opportunities and boosting their financial worth.

Jadwa GCC Equity Fund is considered to be a high-risk fund.  Main risk is the market risk since the value of the underlying investment fluctuates.
