
2018 Saudi Fiscal Budget
Budget ReportThe government continues to support the economy through the largest ever budgeted expenditure of SR978 billion in 2018, compared with 2017s budget of SR890 billion. Based on revenues of SR783 billion, the government is budgeting for a slightly lower year-on-year deficit at SR195 billion, compared to our forecast of SR220 billion.

Q2 2018 Budget Report: (Fiscal deficit narrows dramatically)
Budget ReportTotal government revenue rose to SR273 billion in Q2 2018, up by 67 percent, or SR110 billion, year-on-year. Whilst non-oil revenue saw a rise of 42 percent year-on-year, government oil revenue rose by an even higher rate during the quarter, to a total of SR184 billion.
